New Super Mario Brothers for DS Lite
No surprise here, I own this one, and for any Mario fan, it’s a classic that you’ll love to share. Over 85 levels and 3D graphics make this one a shoe in, and some new features and surprises too. This one was a hit with reviewers who found it fun with just the right amount of challenge. And, you can play against friends with your Ds Lite System too.
Mario Kart DS Lite
Mario again, I guess they are on to something here. A Go-Cart Racing game where you get to sabotage your opponent will always be a hit. Now, they’ve added terrific graphics to mix the old and the new, as well as challenging mission modes, and of course, online play. Young and old alike who enjoy racing games will love this one.
Scribblenauts for Ds Lite
Ah, the brain game enters the kingdom! Glad to see this one made the cut, as it really is the kind of game you want to see your kids playing. It is a puzzling game that challenges your imagination and creativity in a good way. It is a 2-D game where you need to work through levels by solving puzzles….less your luck than your knowledge.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for DS Lite
A favorite with my son, this is a great game that involves 2 classics, Star Wars and Lego’s. I can imagine that this may not be the most challenging game for older players, but kids, and maybe especially boys, think it rules! You travel through the movies and collect characters as you conquer levels. Does offer some challenge in defeating the current villain as you progress. Just great fun!
Professor Layton and the Curious Village for DS Lite
This is another puzzle/mind game that became quite popular. It involves a Professor and his son searching for a ‘golden apple’ and their adventures along the way. You search each town and solve the puzzle as you move along. Great Graphics too!
Cooking Mama for DS Lite
Cooking can be fun, and this game proves it. Prepare food in several steps, which kind of makes it like lots of mini games. Maybe a little mindless, but for most of us, it’s better than really cooking.
